 Our Studio
Upstairs of our instrument shop is where quite a lot of the music you hear on a daily basis is recorded. Commercial jingles for many of the products and services in T&T, both for radio and television. We also have some well known musicians using our studios to record and mix their songs, the results of which you hear on our local airwaves. Denise Plummer, Ataklan, Orange Sky, Terry Seals and Michelle Slyvester to name some.
Robert Johnson of Audio Concepts, a dedicated musician himself, and serious head in recording technology, in the game since the analogical age while he was keyboardist with the eighties power-rock outfit Touchdown, when at the time, the band invested in a 24 track 2 inch tape recorder and studio. He has equipped the Audio Concepts studios with the latest digital recording hardware and software, so the quality of the recordings are of the highest standard in the industry world-wide. The digital age has made multi track recording affordable with the highest fidelity ever.
 Bayete Williams was introduced to the music world in 1998, when the late Ras Shorty-I had Bayete accompany him on some recording sessions in the studio. Bayete began playing keyboards at age three, when his mother presented him with a Casiotone VL100 electronic keyboard for Christmas, instead of the Scalectrix model racing car set he was expecting. Committed to music since then, he began playing in Sunday School at age 5 and adult church at 8. He is presently qualified in music theory to Grade 5 Practical, and grade theory, a love for contemporary piano led him to study with John Arnold in Tobago, passing his exams with a distinction. Now the senior recording engineer at Audiocon, he is an expert in computing and digital recording technology, and has been a band member of Atlantik, Roots and Pure Energy. Now he is currently playing with Just Friends.
